Sunday May 16th marked the start of the 2004 Subaru Triathlon Series with the The Brick Duathlon in Waterloo. NRG PT athlete Seanna Robinson had a very strong day finishing second in her age group and posting the fastest run splits. NRG PT Head Coach Nigel Gray had a strong day as well taking home the overall win for the second consecutive year and 5th win in total at the Brick.
The next few weeks will see many more NRG PT athletes out at the races. This coming weekend Teresa Deveaux will be racing in the Disney Half Ironman in preparation for IM Lake Placid. The following weekend is Ironman Brazil with Fiona Gray, Brandon Whitby, Derek Joynt and Tom Beckerman all looking forward to great races! This will be Tom’s first Ironman and Brandon is looking to improve on his 10:46 from Brazil last year. In Ottawa that weekend John Garey will be racing the marathon and Laura and Chris Cameron will be racing the half. And Rob West will be racing the Masters A bike race in Effingham, up the the infamous Effingham hill!
