The first Disney Half Ironman took place over the weekend with Lisa Bentley having a great race and taking home the vitory over a very strong womens field. NRG PT athlete Teresa Deveaux also had a great day, finishing in her goal time and being right on track for a solid performance in Ironman Lake Placid.
Rob West (the Count!) had a solid crit race in Effingham on the weekend as well, after misjudging a corner on the road race on Saturday (leading to an earlier than expected finish!) he came back with a strong top 15 result in Sunday’s crit and is looking forward to this weekends race in High Park.
Ironman Brazil takes place this weekend with Fiona Gray, Brandon Whitby, Derek Joynt and Tom Beckerman (in his first Ironman) all looking forward to great races!!
Also this coming weekend is the Ottawa Marathon. NRG PT athletes racing include, John Garey in the marathon, Laura and Chris Cameron in the half and Seanna Robinson in the 10km.
