Catching up with the Races

Sorry for the delay, here is an update on NRG PT athlete races in the last few weeks

Brad Wilson and Dan Tassie started their seasons off in Harry Spring run off

Tim Stewart finished his first Ironman at Ironman Arizona

Marc Trudeau and Kate Lloyd both braved the conditions in a very tough year in the Boston Marathon

Matt Freeman had a solid start to his season with the Paris Ancaster 60km cyclocross race

Down south Gary Chevalier raced a sprint tri warm up before finishing his first half Ironman at Gulf Coast as he gets ready to race his first Ironman in Florida in November

Tibor Szirmay-Kalos showed some good speed going 1:39 in his first half marathon

At the new Florida 101 race, which is basically a 3/4 Ironman, Associate Coach Sylvie Dansereau was racing and finished 8th overall, despite hard to fix flat tire early in the bike

In St Croix, Linnea Humphrey put together a great race to finish second in her age group in the St Croix 70.3 Half Ironman

At the Sporting Life 10km Melinda Lehman started her season and Dan Tassie also had a solid race

In the Mississauga half marathon we had lots of athletes racing, congratulations to:
Cathie Price, David Taylor (PB), Dan Tassie, Paul Clarke, Annette Mackinnon, Cheryl Donnelly PB (by 13minutes!), Oliver Sterbinsky, and Associate Coach Deborah Moore had a great return to racing after the birth of her daughter 9months ago. And Walter Spoja was a member of the winning marathon relay team.

And Nick Taggart finished second in his age group and 21st overall at the Fredericton Half marathon on the weekend
