A Long Hike/Scramble/Run

Well if you look at the average pace of this it wasnt really a run, but there was a lot of work involved! I am looking over some options for a long high altitude run for our 2013 camp and so went up to Superbagneres (1800m starting elevation) and checked out some of the options up there (finishing at 2400m on 2 different peaks). This was definitely a challenging hike/scramble/run! Some snow, some steep bits, so loose bits, but incredible weather and some incredible views.

The first peak was the one just to the right of the sign (Chemin des Cpetes), the second is just to the left

Looking back on the way up, the trail is on the left and you can see the road climb to Superbagneres in the middle

Looking down from the top to Superbagneres, the trail is on the right side of the ridgeline
