David is an NRG PT athlete who placed 2nd in the 2man Team division of RAAM (Race Across America) in 2007. He returned to the race in 2008 as a spectator to write a book about what is definitely in the running for the Worlds Toughest Endurance test! For those of you who don’t know, RAAM is a non stop bike race from one side of the US to the other. Once the clock starts it doesn’t stop ticking till you cross the finish line, so being able to ride on limited sleep is a definite bonus! David chronicles some of the trials and tribulations of riding almost non stop for 8+ days as well as capturing some amazing pictures of the journey in his book The United States of Delrium.
David is also the author of 66 days with Satan, a journal of his 2 month ride across Canada, as well The EFI Club, a chronicle of his ride in the Tour D’Afrique, a 4month ride from the top of Africa to the bottom!
