Over 20 Athletes Racing this past weekend!

This past weekend was a very busy one with over 20 NRG PT athletes racing around the province!!

In Leamington, Scott Patterson was having an incredible day in the duathlon, getting a motorcycle escort on the bike on his way to the overall win!!! Great race Scott! Catherine Adams raced well in her triathlon in Hamilton as well. Marc Trudeau set a PB in the Brampton Cycling Club TT on Sunday

In Muskoka NRG PT was represented by 18 athletes with everyone racing well!! Joanne Sisco, Tibor Szirmay-Kalos, Joe Cosentino, Cameron Bush (5th in his age group!) and Lianne Millar (in her first triathlon!) all showed they are on track for their first Ironman races this summer. Jesse Ryan had a great day in his first long course tri and Sandra Godard raced strongly in her lead up to Ironman Lake Placid. Tim Rowley and Kari Ala-Leppilampli both finished strongly in their first Muskoka races. Nicole Gilinsky over came some back issues the morning of the race to have a very strong finish. Eric Drolet raced well, bouncing back from Ironman Lanzorate 4 weeks ago (and a dehydration study 4 days before!). Rob Gendron, Gilles Simard, Kim Whitaker and Maurice Harapiak all had great races and set new PB’s on the course!! Sylvie Dansereau put in another awesome performance winning her age group by 18min and finishing as the 6th place women overall!! Melinda Lehman got back into racing after Ironman Arizona in the sprint race on Sat and Head Coach Nigel Gray had a 4min PB on the Muskoka course to finish a solid 7th in the highly competitive men’s Pro field.
