Collingwood and Kingston Triathlons

NRG Performance Training athletes where racing in both the Collingwood and Kingston long course triathlons this past weekend.

The Collingwood course is a tough 2km swim 65km bike and 15km run. The bike course takes you up the escarpment and then on a rolling loop up top before plummeting back down to the bike run transition at the Blue Mountain ski resort. Tim Rowley, competing in his first triathlon ever finished 4th in his age group! While Sylvie Dansereau continued her great (and undefeated) season, and showed she is a threat in longer races as well by winning the Collingwood womens division and placing 7th overall!!! Congratulations Tim and Sylvie!

In Kingston Bill Dee and Head Coach Nigel Gray where racing the Kingston long course triathlon (2km, 56km, 15km). Bill Dee showed he is on track for Ironman Florida with a solid performance in the hot conditions. Nigel had a good race as well, taking the overall win for his second victory in Kingston
