Five NRG PT athletes where on the start line for Ironman Lake Placid Sunday morning. Three athletes, Jonathan Kopman, Katie Auger and John Crawford where all racing Ironman for the first time and all three are now Ironman Finishers, congratulations!!!
Sandra Godard, who only three years ago at this time hadn’t even completed a triathlon, is now a two time Ironman finisher, having completed Ironman Canada last August and now Ironman Lake Placid, way to go Sandra!!
IMLP was a big break through race for Teresa Deveaux as well. She took nearly an hour off her previous best time and went 12:29 for a fantasitic race!!!
Also competing on the weekend in the Niagara Sprint Triathlon where Jesse Ryan and Laura Cameron. Laura is gaining lots of racing experience as this was race number 4 under her belt for the 2004 season. Jesse had a very good day in his first sprint distance race as well, and is showing that the hard work he has put in is paying off.
